Exhibitions are by Invitation or Proposal on an Ongoing Basis.

The Landmark is now soliciting proposals for exhibitions of the broadest range of visual art or craft produced by regional artists. Certain criteria must be met. Proposals will be evaluated based upon those criteria. Exhibitions will be primarily during the Long Lake Theater summer performance season.

How to Make a Proposal for an Exhibition
The work has to be completed before proposal for the exhibition is made. Please submit digital documentation of the art work, a written statement about the exhibition, a resume or biographical detail about the artist or group of
artists, a list of the work that would be exhibited with titles, sizes, medium and date.

How are Exhibitions Selected?
The staff at The Landmark will make aesthetic judgments about the quality of the art work proposed for exhibition. The staff will not schedule exhibitions if there are issues relating to safety, appropriateness of subject matter, or the amount of work appropriate for the exhibition space.  Exhibitions are scheduled for 5 or 6 week durations depending upon the time of year. A letter of understanding or exhibition contract will be signed by the staff and the artist or group for each exhibition.

Payment of Artist Fees and Sales:

The Landmark will not pay artists' fees. Sales of work during an exhibition or directly resulting from an exhibition at our gallery will be subject to a 40% commission fee.
